Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any flying experience?
No. Your first flight is designed for people with zero aviation experience. Your instructor will guide you through everything from the moment you arrive.
Will I actually fly the airplane?
Yes. You will sit in the left seat (the pilot’s seat) and take the controls during the flight. Your instructor handles takeoff and landing, but you will fly the aircraft during the lesson.
How long is the flight?
Plan for approximately 90 minutes total, which includes a pre-flight briefing on the ground and flight time in the aircraft.
Can I bring someone with me?
A guest is welcome to come to the training center and watch you depart and return, but only you and the instructor will be in the aircraft during the flight.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is always the priority. If weather conditions are not suitable for flying, we will reschedule your flight at no additional cost.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. Avoid loose scarves or accessories. Sunglasses are recommended. This is a training environment, so dress casually but appropriately.
Am I obligated to enroll in training after the flight?
No. The first flight has no obligation. If you decide you want to continue, your instructor and our admissions team can walk you through the next steps. If not, you still had a great flight.
